Initial overview of the CFO position and its expectations:1. Weekly flash report of sales and payroll by functional area.2. Separation of Source Pro, COP, and B&M below the line.3. Separate P&L for Source Pro each month.4. Speed up period close such that I get monthly numbers within 5 days5. Complete Monthly GPM by business segment each month.6. Manage payables and get Involved in receivables.7. Manage all insurance costs.8. Manage payroll.9. Monthly P&L with highlighted issues for discussion.10. Develop metrics and executive scorecard for each department11. Develop monthly cost trends for operations.12. Manage truck leases including renewal plan.13. Assist with financial analysis of future capacity planning (ROI analysis).14. Develop formal raise/bonus matrix that reflects last pay raise and bonus dollars by employee.15. Establish monthly inventory reserve "below the line" to protect against shortages.16. Capital plan for warehouse, trucking, and technology (5 year) with replacement graphs.A 65 year old, privately held, non--union company with great benefits and known for great care of their associates.
