Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Senior Procedures Analyst position is to provide technical assistance to computer users in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Primarily supports, maintains, and troubleshoots problems to prevent downtime, while enhancing the use of hardware, software, peripheral equipment and operating systems during laboratory related testing and validation. Also responsible in conjunction with the supervisor of the section, for the administrator roles for the following systems CoPath and Data Innovations software systems. Works with IST for the implementation and updates to the EPIC system. Performs maintenance of CoPath and various systems, and performs daily systems checks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. Must have at least two (2) years of Clinical software application experience. Must be proficient with MS Office applications and electronic mail. Good verbal and written communications skills needed for system analysis and documentation purposes. Experience with Laboratory Information Systems and terminology preferred. Experience with CoPath, Safetrace, EPIC, and Data Innovations (IM) software applications preferred. - Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements on a year-for-year basis.
