Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist the OR, Labor & Delivery Nursing Units, ER, clinics and various other departments by processing and maintaining supplies and equipment (both sterile and unsterile) required for the care, diagnosis and treatment of patients. To demonstrate a clear understanding of Central Service theory in such areas as, cleaning, isolation and the ability to adapt the knowledge to Sterile Processing. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles and unsecured areas) etc. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification expected within one year of hire
• Minimum of 1-year hospital experience, one to two years
