At the American Red Cross, your uniqueness can shine! The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Summer Intern within the Training Services Department to support the Data Analytics Team. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: The Business Analyst Intern will be responsible for creating and maintaining Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance dashboard, using web analytics and SEO/SEM tools. The individual will also be responsible for conducting quantitative research projects using online survey tools, retrieving search-related data, analyzing results, and identifying new opportunities based on data analysis. Will work with other Marketing team members to develop, implement, measure, and refine SEO initiatives. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:

• May support unit with research projects.
• Analyze data, present facts, and recommends solutions.
• May create, develop, or maintain databases for various lines of service events or projects.
• Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management.
• Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from staff in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
• Perform unit-specific responsibilities.
• Schedule: Normal Business Hours Pay: The salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: High School or equivalentrequired. The internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours.
  Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience.
  Management Experience: N/a
  Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Ability to work on a team.
  Travel: Must be able to attend at least two meetings in New Jersey and Washington DC.
