Our client, a well established and expanding northeast USA sales and service company that services the food equipment industry is looking for field service technicians to repair and install equipment in Newark NJ. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus. The company will provide training to qualified applicants.

To be successful as a Field Service Technician, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent attention to detail, as well as organizational and time management skills. May require flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work irregular shifts such as potential evenings or weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Provide service and customer support during field visits
• Manage all on-site maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

• Work quickly but accurately
• Make equipment repair recommendations
  REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  • • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting and repair.
