Description
We have a unique opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst.
Reporting to the IT Manager of Business Systems, you will work
directly with the IT and Business Operations teams to identify key
data points that influence decision making in the company's
operations through the management of and creation of unique
operational reports and dashboards. This role will be crucial to
business operations and will play an important part in how we scale
as the company continues to grow. Preferred office location is
Douglassville, PA, but willing to consider candidates residing near
one of our other offices within the U.S.In this role you will
provide day to day data analytics and reporting solutions using the
Microsoft BI Stack. You will help to expand the reporting usage
across the organization and ensure the business intelligence
platform is in line with the business's requirements.
Collaborate with business groups,
financial team and operational team members to understand
processes, identify strategic objectives and create unique
operational reports and dashboards that track execution success
Utilize data visualization tools to promote the use of data driven
decision making Gather intelligence on key operational and
financial metrics Respond to requests for data and reports Use data
to illustrate information stories in various mediums (Excel,
Microsoft BI etc.) that aid in the development of key strategic
initiatives and generate clear insights shared with company
executives Evaluate the current data-warehouse environment and then
make changes to and/or create new data marts, end-to-end flows
Ensure proper data cardinality, data relationships, and quality of
the dataDesired Skills & Experience:
Proven ability with Microsoft Power
BI and SQL Reporting (SSRS, SQL Mobile Reports) is preferred
Experience with Tableau and Oracle Analytics is a plus Ability to
merge / combine mixed data from disparate sources Ability to query
reports from SQL databases and familiarity with relational database
concepts Strong Excel skills Reporting Database Design and
connectivity to reporting platforms Data workflow technologies
including SSIS, Data Factory (or equivalent) Data movement
technologies such as SQL replication or other tools to automate
data movement Unstructured data handling - consuming JSON data into
reporting environments Report writing in several different
technologies (SSRS, Power BI, etc.) Proven ability to successfully
deliver critical, enterprise-level initiatives Internally
motivated, able to work effectively both independently and in a
team environment Handle tight deadlines, learn quickly, and
maintain a positive, professional attitude Proven ability to
identify, analyze and solve problems Excellent organizational, time
management, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and
written Proven ability to follow change management processes
required for all CRM development activities while adhering to best
practices for development, testing, build and release
managementEducation & Certifications:
Bachelor' s degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline is required
Microsoft BI certifications required. 8 years of relevant work
experience
