This role reports to the Vice President, Head of PGIM Market Research, who is part of the Marketing Analytics & Insights team within the centralized Marketing organization.--POSITION OVERVIEWThe Marketing Analytics & Insights team, a strategic advisor to Prudential's businesses, drives decisions that help them achieve their key performance goals and inspire forward looking momentum. Our mission is to inform decision-making using data-driven insights grounded in strategic business acumen and a deep understanding of macro trends, needs, and behaviors.Prudential is seeking a Manager, PGIM Insights Consultant to join the Marketing Analytics & Insights team. The Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the research execution process for PGIM, the asset management business of Prudential. Under the guidance of the Director and Vice President, the Research Manager will translate a research brief into a project plan with the corresponding research steps and timelines. They will map out key deliverables and work to complete them on time and in line with quality standards.ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Primary Research Execution: Lead, own, and execute on key primary research deliverables including writing questionnaires, programming and testing surveys, sampling strategy/execution, checking soft data, conducting data analysis, writing analysis plans, and data visualization/charting. Represent the team in meetings with business partners and present to internal and external audience, as needed.
  • Collaboration: Under the guidance of the Vice President and Director, work cross-functionally with business partners, the advanced capabilities team and other team members to ensure that deliverables meet objectives and expectations; Provide recommendations on research design and analysis plan to ensure that objectives are met. Represent the team in meetings with business partners and present to internal and external audience, as needed.
  • Process Excellence: Support the work to drive efficiency in research execution by helping identify and apply team best practices; Develop and apply new processes, standards and templates to ensure consistency in the quality and turnaround time; Help drive change and adoption of new team standards; Train others on research protocols and execution process.
  • Program Management: Manage continuous research programs and DIY research platforms (i.e., brand tracking, insight community, user testing, etc.) independently. Own and lead research execution to write questionnaires, program, test, and launch surveys, analyze data, and provide a topline report using such platforms.
  • Knowledge Management: Support the ongoing development of a knowledge management platform, enabling the sharing of data and insights throughout the organization.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of overall market research, marketing competitive intelligence experience, or trends analysis strongly preferred. Asset management industry experience required.
    • Proven experience in executing research projects end-to-end, including creating research briefs, designing research instruments (questionnaires, interview guides), conducting data analysis and writing research reports.
    • Solid understanding of the primary research process. Analytical mind with the ability to design and identify insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Proven track record of managing primary research projects end-to-end.
    • Experience with a broad array of primary research programs, including brand, advertising & positioning studies, awareness & usage, new product and service development, segmentation, thought leadership and customer experience research.
    • Experience with different market research tools and platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Q, SPSS, etc.) is preferred.
    • Leadership initiative and strong interpersonal skills
    • Personal accountability and strong work ethic.
