You will be responsible for applying software engineering skills to assist teams in the completion of client engagements. You will employ sound communication skills interacting with clients to understand problems and provide solutions. Typical tasks span activities include translating client security requirements, conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, and/or networks, source code analysis and delivery of detailed written results in sections of final reports as part of deliverables to clients.Roles Include

  • Threat Modelling Qualifications and ExperienceExperience
    • At least 4 years of experience in either security consulting, penetration testing or vulnerability assessments
    • Relevant experience in web application security, mobile application security, source code review or network penetration testing
      Technical skills
      • Familiarity with C/C++, .NET, Java, multiple OS and RDBMS
      • Experience conducting reverse engineering
      • Experience with security tools like Burp, AppScan, IDA, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.
        • Experience with scripting or query languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl or SQL)
        • Experience with multiple OS such as Linux, Mac OSX, iOS, Android and Windows
        • Experience with risk scoring standards such as NIST 800-30 r1, CVSS v3
        • Experience with software attack and exploitation techniques
        • Experience with PCI-DSS assessments
        • Familiarity with the concepts of defensive programming
        • Experience with Architectural Risk Analysis, Threat Modeling and Traceability Matrix
          Consulting Skills
          • Experience interfacing with clients, utilizing consulting and negotiating skills
          • Experience with undertaking and completing tasks independently, meeting schedules and delivery timelines, and moving swiftly from concepts and theory to action
          • Experience in prioritizing and switching gears in a time-sensitive environment
          • Experience in identifying risks and taking due course of action to either address or escalate risks to appropriate stake holders
            Team-oriented Skills
            • Experience leading multiple project teams, giving directions and ensuring that tasks are executed consistently
            • Experience mentoring and helping develop or improve skillsets of a team
            • Experience monitoring and tracking the progress of team members and helping them achieve career goals
