This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Lean Continuous ImprovementLeader, you will be responsible for:. Lead the Lean Continuous Improvement program for the Supply Chain, QA/QC and Fac/Eng. Departments to deliver improved results in Cost, Quality and Customer Service. Facilitating workshops and events to identify improvements and developing action plans to improve workflow and make processes more effective and efficient. Improve visual management and KPI reporting systems to improve reaction time and effective management of results areas.. Use Lean and six sigma methods such as Structured Problem Solving or VSM to lead groups through analysis and improvement planning.. Lead projects to improve administrative and transaction-based processes.. Build skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods and Productivity. Can lead teams using Lean/Six Sigma improvement methods & facilitate workshops/ events.. Analyzing administrative and transaction-based processes to identify sources of waste and productivity improvements. Have an understanding and experience with supply chain planning, material mgmt., quality control and production processes.. Have project and program management skills.. Can analyze data and identify improvement areas and approaches through lean methods, statistical analysis or Six Sigma techniques.. Can develop and lead performance and reporting mgmt. system for teams and with leadership.. Required skills to have for the success of this role. Lean or Black Belt Six Sigma experience.. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistic/Material Mgmt. or Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in improving supply chain, quality or manufacturing environment. Willing to travel up to 10% to vendor or other plant sites.
