WebMDIgnite.com. Role Summary: The Associate Director, Brand
Positioning & Marketing will be responsible for developing and
executing comprehensive media relations strategies, driving thought
leadership programs, managing industry award submissions, and
overseeing corporate communications efforts. This role requires a
proactive and strategic communicator with media experience, strong
storytelling abilities, and expertise in elevating brand
reputation. Key Responsibilities: Media Relations: Develop and
execute media outreach strategies to enhance brand visibility.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, industry
analysts, and media outlets. Thought Leadership: Develop and
implement thought leadership initiatives, including bylined
articles, speaking engagements, whitepapers, and executive
visibility programs. Industry Awards & Recognition: Identify,
evaluate, and manage submissions for relevant industry awards to
showcase company achievements and innovations. Corporate
Communications: Develop and implement internal and external
corporate communications strategies that align with business
objectives and enhance brand reputation. Employee Communications:
Work closely with HR and leadership to craft internal messaging,
company announcements, and engagement initiatives. Messaging &
Content Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to
craft compelling messaging, press releases, blog posts, and op-eds
that align with business objectives. Analytics & Reporting: Track
media coverage, analyze PR performance, and provide insights to
optimize future strategies. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s
degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related
field. 8 years of experience in corporate communications, media
relations, or public relations, preferably in healthcare Strong
relationships with media contacts and a proven track record of
securing press coverage. Excellent written and verbal communication
skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Experience
in thought leadership positioning, executive communications, and
industry recognition programs. Strong project management skills
with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Ability to work
collaboratively across teams and influence senior executives.
Knowledge of media monitoring and PR analytics tools. If you are a

$110,000 - $120,000 per year Bonus Eligible: This position is also
eligible for a discretionary company bonus, based upon business
