responsive.io. About the Role We’re hiring a seasoned product
marketing leader to scale our SMB business and expand Responsive’s
footprint through product-led, self-service channels. Reporting to
the Vice President of Product Marketing, this is a high-impact,
cross-functional role that blends strategy and execution. You’ll
lead the go-to-market and monetization strategy for our
self-service offering - including sign-up and billing experiences -
collaborating closely with product, design, sales, customer
success, and support to create a seamless end-to-end journey from
acquisition to onboarding, conversion, and expansion. This role is
ideal for someone with an analytical and customer-centric
orientation who embraces AI as a competitive advantage. You’ll join
an agile, results-focused marketing organization that is
accelerating Responsive’s relevance and value as a pivotal
technology in customers’ GTM tech stack. What Youll Do Drive GTM
Strategy: Own and evolve the GTM strategy for our self-service
offering, including segmentation, positioning, launch planning,
monetization strategy, and lifecycle engagement. Build the
Foundation for Scalable PLG Motion: Optimize key self-service
components - such as sign-up flows, onboarding journeys, and
purchase process - to drive acquisition, activation, and conversion
Improve growth loops, using focused experiments to remove friction
and accelerate engagement, purchase, and adoption across the
customer journey . Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Execution:
Act as the connective tissue across product, marketing, sales,
customer success, and support to ensure a unified self-service
experience. Accelerate Expansion and Account Growth: Identify
signals and pathways that support natural movement from
self-service to higher-tier offerings, including escalation to
sales where appropriate. Champion Data-Driven Decision Making:
Report on performance of self-service offering using sales,
product, and support data Run funnel diagnostics to close the loop
between acquisition, adoption, and retention Scale Growth and
Operational Effectiveness with AI: Identify opportunities to
leverage AI to scale and accelerate impact of our offering and GTM
operations, driving efficiency and innovation within the
organization. Who You Are A strategic, entrepreneurial operator
with deep PLG experience and a track record of building and scaling
go-to-market motions in B2B SaaS Equally effective at strategic
thinking and hands-on execution - you can zoom out and roll up your
sleeves as needed. Exceptionally collaborative with strong
cross-functional influence - able to drive consensus, move fast,
and align teams around a shared vision. Analytical to the core -
you know how to derive insights from usage data, funnel metrics,
and customer feedback to guide decisions and prove impact. A crisp
communicator who can inspire, align, and present with clarity and
confidence to executive audiences. Comfortable navigating
ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, and
adapting plans as you learn and scale. Outcome-driven and
relationship-oriented - you don’t just get things done, you get the
right things done, with an eye toward long-term impact and
collaboration. A lifelong learner with a global perspective -
curious, coachable, and consistently showing up as a trusted
teammate. Bonus: Experience leading PLG motions for AI solutions in
the sales/marketing tech stack Experience & Education 10 years of
progressive product marketing experience; B2B SaaS industry
experience preferred. 5 years experience in PLG with progressive
scope and leadership Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel
marketing programs from brief to delivery. Bachelors degree in
Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required. MBA
or advanced degree preferred but not required. What We Offer
Responsive uses a market-based compensation philosophy. A
candidate’s starting base salary will be determined by the specific
responsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills,
experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends.
For this position, the base salary range is $175,000–$220,000. Our
recruiting team will provide details on the applicable range based
on your location during the hiring process. Please note that this
range covers base salary only and does not include bonuses, equity,
or benefits. Responsive embraces a global flexible workforce model

candidates located in Dallas, TX will be given priority
