Job Description:

We are a local construction company looking for the right candidate to fill a position in our accounts payable department. The position plays a key role in the organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. Job responsibilities: *Ensure all company payables are accurately recorded, tracked, approved and paid in a timely manner *identify opportunites for payment discounts *Evaluate sales tax on invoices *Assst with annual w/c audit *Reconcile Vendor statements *Ensure compliance with company policies, controls and procedures *interact and communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoicing issues *Preserve confidentiality of information viewed during payable processing *Take lead in accounts payable function *Maintain W-9 and insurance certificates for subcontractors *Process annual 1099 distribution Job Requirements: *Two years of Accounts Payble experience preferred, but not required *Capable of working independently without close supervison *Required communication with all employees, management and vendors *Working knowledge of SAGE 100 preferred, but not required Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $38,660 - $52,750 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
