Job Description:
A company is looking for a Stop Loss Underwriter responsible for
pricing quotes and analyzing contract structures based on claims
experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a book of business by renewing accounts and writing new
business profitably
Calculate rates, interpret pricing policies, and address unusual
situations
Analyze member risk and collaborate with internal departments to
manage this risk
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of underwriting experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Ability to use relevant computer systems and applications
Demonstrated understanding of corporate and departmental goals
Strong math aptitude for analysis
