OverviewManage associates, technology, and processes that ensure the technological and digital security of the Bank. Develop strategies to improve security architecture and operational service across the organization. Oversee mitigation of cyber threats, security risks, and unauthorized access. Foster understanding of industry practices, technology, and evolving threats in order to enhance defenses for the Bank's information systems and resources. Anticipate and lead the response to cyber threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities, and effectively develop and communicate appropriate information to technical, management, and executive audiences. Provide leadership and expert consultation on security operations matters to enterprise-wide initiatives or committees. Lead change management, resource planning, and other activities with significant impact on existing security framework. Manage the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to develop security awareness and protect Bank assets. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy. QualificationsPosition requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related field of study plus ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or ten (10) years of experience as a Cyber Response Analyst, Network Engineer, Internet and Mobile Infrastructure Designer, Programmer, or a Communications/Computer Network Security related occupation.Position requires knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, information security service capabilities and functions, and enterprise security controls. Requires knowledge of various platform technologies: Secure Web Gateways, Secure Email Gateways, and Security Information and event management systems (Broadcom, zScaler, McAfee, Splunk, or Cisco). Requires knowledge of core computer network services algorithms and protocols: DNS, DHCP, NTP, load balancing, remote access, and firewalls. Requires expert knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. Requires experience with web servers: Apache HTTPD, NGINX, Varnish, or Squid. Requires knowledge of cryptology: Public Key infrastructure, hardware security modules, and encryption algorithms.
