POSITION SUMMARY: The Planner will be an active partner in managing the OTB aspect of the business preparing forecasts and evaluating performance for company stores and e-commerce in an Omni environment. Protect TH interests while maximizing profitability and minimizing liabilities. Create business plans in accordance with the divisional and corporate goals, including short term/long term planning by style/color to support capacity requirements and business strategies. In addition, the Planner will assure timely and accurate communication of weekly, monthly, and adjusted seasonal forecasts.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create OTB worksheets, present at monthly business meetings and provide information and strategic initiatives to upper management; create business plans on a departmental level; own item plans at the core and key program level
• Analyze and prepare hindsight documents to measure past performance to inform future planning & buys
• Analyze & communicate by sales/stock performance by door group/promotional tier
• Manage the pricing and promotion execution in the IP system
• Secure financial documents and reconcile monthly on order/receipt flow
• Partner with Merchandising to formulate pre-season sales/GM/Inventory Flow Objectives that tie to the topline benchmark metrics and present strategies to upper management
• Partner with Merchandising to build buy worksheets that tie to topline metrics
• Meet with cross-functional teams to manage the day-to-day business from a pricing/ promotion and inventory/sales/GM perspective as well as make recommendations on strategies to improve the business.
• Review data outside of scope of immediate duties to understand the bigger picture
• Work on divisional/corporate projects as necessary
• Learn and adapt to new JDA Demand system to be able to forecast demand and inventory needs for TH and accounts we sell to
  • The net result should be increased wholesale and retail sales, greater profitability and improved inventory turns
  • Call out trends relating to sales versus projections
  • Supervise/challenge inventory levels and fulfillment by color / style / customer
  • Become a liaison on systems initiatives as they pertain to Demand PlanningQUALIFICATIONS:
    • 4+ years of Merchandise Planning experience, preferably in a 100% vertical retail setting (demand side driven)
    • JDA Demand knowledge a plus
    • Omni experience a plus
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Retail math background
    • Analytical skills
    • Organizational and communication skills
    • Has high attention to detail & able to multitask/reprioritize in a fast paced environment
    • Demonstrates flexibility and eagerness to learn and grow in a position that will continue to evolve
    • Ability to work cross functionally as well as with upper management
    • Computer Proficiency: Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, MicroStrategy, IP; JDA experience, a plus
    • Responsible to hold to their department's buy and inventory budgets
    • In conjunction with their direct manager, make departmental recommendations (e.g., buy-in choices)
    • Primary decision making will revolve around accurate projections, managing supply and forecasting inventory and shipments
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets
    • Creative thinker and effective collaborator with their departmental team
    • The Planner must be able to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the company. Be able to influence others based on the analysis and forecasting
    • Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

      $80,000 - $100,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
