The LIHTC Recertification Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that residents who live in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties are eligible to continue receiving affordable housing benefits. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent customer service.

• Conduct annual recertification interviews with LIHTC residents to determine continued eligibility for affordable housing benefits
• Review and verify income, assets, and household composition for each resident
• Coordinate with property management staff to schedule and complete recertification interviews in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and complete resident files in compliance with LIHTC regulations
• Prepare and submit necessary paperwork to regulatory agencies and funding sources
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
