start doingyour life's best work.(sm)Work Hours: 3, 12-hour shifts
from 7:45 am to 8 pm any day of the week; including weekends and
holidaysPrimary Responsibilities:Greet patient when entering the
practiceObtain accurate and updated patient information, such as
name, address, insurance informationPerform insurance verification
on the date of serviceFile and maintain medical recordsConfirms and
schedule appointmentsAnswer telephone calls promptly and
courteouslyCollects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of
servicePerform referral documentation promptlyPerforms certain
follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous manner,
such as scheduling specialist appointments, scheduling follow-up
appointments and obtaining copies lab results or specialist
reportsAdhere to the standards identified in Optum's Employee
Policy ManualCooperate with other Optumemployees to achieve
specific team goalsKeep abreast on current medical requirements
relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient
confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirementsPoint

Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 1+ yearof experience working in the
medical field1+ year of healthcare or customer service-related
experienceFull COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of
this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19
booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
