DescriptionDEPCOM Power is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer
to join the team in the Bedminster, NJ Office. We are looking for a
strong leader with a power engineering background to promote our
skills to new clients and maintain our existing client base.The
Generation and Power Systems Engineering (GPSE) team is responsible
for all the Company's Electrical Designs and Project Development
Engineer. This position reports directly to the Director -
Electrical Engineering, as a valuable member of the Company's
internal Project Design Engineering functions. It is an excellent
career opportunity for an engineer with a strong technical
background and looking to grow into an engineering leadership role,
which supports the Company's multiple business units, including
utility-scale solar, energy storage, repowering projects, and
distributed generation.This role offers a competitive salary,

You Will Do In Your RolePartner with a dedicated Lead Electrical
Designer to help Design and Prepare Electrical Design Packages
including Utility and Industrial Scale Solar Projects, Energy
Storage Projects, and Repowering Projects/ServicesPrepare
design-related reports and calculations (Load Flow, Grounding,
Protective Device Coordination and Ampacity calculation)Prepare
product specifications and procurement support for engineered
products and solutions, or otherwise approved standard
productsPrepare various levels of Bills of Materials for
preliminary, permitting, and final construction milestonesAssist
Director, Electrical Engineering in product evaluation and standard
concept designsSupport the Procurement Team in qualifying new
vendors from a technical perspectiveSupport Construction Team
during execution by responding to Owner, Subcontractor or Field
RFI'sWorking in AutoCAD for material take-offs, or drafting edits
when necessarySupport RFP packages as needed from the preliminary
design perspectiveConduct cost/benefit analyses for various cable
constructions, grounding schemes, and major equipmentThe Experience
You Will BringRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or
higherActive registration (P.E. License) as an Electrical Engineer
in any of the qualifying United StatesWillingness to Sign and Seal
electrical drawings for purposes of permitting and construction
(manage and activate NCEES registration for States qualifying
reciprocity)Previous engineering, design and power systems
experienceExperience and understanding of electrical design
calculations, including load flow, short circuit, protective device
coordination, arc flash (AC and DC), ground grid analysis, and
ampacity calculationsKnowledge of National Electrical Code,
National Electrical Safety Code and NFPA 70EExperience with power
systems software (i.e. SKM, AmpCalc, GroundMAT)What Will Put You
AheadPhotovoltaic (PV) Solar experienceEnergy Storage
experienceFamiliar with inverter-based generationExperience in
energy storage applications, or understanding how to integrate into
