This rewarding opportunity will enable you to make a big impact in our organization, so if this sounds exciting, then Prudential Communications might be the right place for you.Your Impact:The Manager, Marketing and Media Relations will be aligned will work across the RIM (Retirement, Insurance and Marketing) businesses and functions as well as across Prudential Communications to deliver key communications campaigns, events, and business-unit specific content to all stakeholder groups both within Marketing, the US Insurance and Retirement businesses, and across the enterprise.The successful candidate will partner with teammates to execute on the internal and external communications strategies that will advance the growth plans of the businesses, connect employees to the customer and the brand in communications deliverables, and engage stakeholders in a conversation about Prudential's purpose, value and business solutions.The Manager will work with the strategists and the Content and Creative teams to coordinate the delivery of engagement campaigns, large events, content creation and dissemination, managing and tracking communications campaigns, drafting creative briefs, and - when appropriate - partnering with agency partners to ensure work is aligned, in the right voice, and on brand.The successful candidate will optimize engagement through internal and external storytelling, earned media, social media, and speaking engagements.Skills:7+ years Communications experience with at least three years' experience in corporate workAbility to bring communications campaigns and deliverables to life in a meaningful through partnering across the entire Prudential Communications teamUnderstanding of Marketing or Creative teams a plus.Business Acumen: Understands the organization's internal and external business environments, including how it delivers value to customers, the market it operates in, and how its separate functions work together.Outcomes Focus: Delivers results that support project, function, and business outcomes, and maximizes my own utility by prioritizing work appropriately and executing efficiently.Creativity: Sees connections that others do not, successfully applies ideas drawn from seemingly unrelated contexts, and generates a wide array of useful solutions to solve problems.Persuasive Influence: Effectively persuades others, remains diplomatic in difficult situations, and leverage a large network of relationships for the good of the business.Communications Coaching: Coaches Communications colleagues and business partners in core communications skills and strategies when needed and shares good ideas for improving Communications' work and/or reputation.Channel Management: Increases familiarity of a wide array of channels, leverages their possibilities for maximum impact, and adapts messages effectively to them.Our Culture: Prudential Financial, Inc. is focused on creating a fully inclusive culture, where all employees feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work.
