Job SummaryRecognized subject matter expert. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Acts as a mentor to less experienced professionals and monitors them in software development methods, process, and implementation. Manages major/complex large projects and coaches, reviews and delegates work to entry/intermediate profession.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Supply Chain Lead for Integrations and M&A will provide leadership and functional/technical support for various business units for business integration for SAP Supply Chain Areas covering SAP Production Planning, SAP EWM/WM and SAP Distribution areas and systems through the design and implementation of existing and new business functionalities.This role will also establish standards and requirements to evaluate and direct enhancements and implement solutions related to the SAP for the Supply Chain area across the enterprise. Supply Chain Lead for Integrations will support the SAP Supply Chain aspects of the systems and be accountable for projects, enhancements, development, configuration, documentation, testing, training, go-live and on-going support within SAP Supply Chain are according to Best Practices, while supporting company's business strategy and roadmap.The role will provide an opportunity to lead key initiatives that include:

  • Leads, participates, or coordinates end-to-end execution of Supply Chain solutions, related to M&A and re-engineering projects and digital transformation implementations.
  • Leads, participates, or coordinates end-to-end execution of Supply Chain solutions, related to M&A and re-engineering projects and technology implementations.
  • Introduces best practices, process improvements.
  • Provides subject matter expert solutions and hands on management of configuration.
  • Defines systems strategy, develops systems requirements, designs and prototypes, testing and training. Defines support procedures.
  • Provides process expertise and solutions in SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) for chemical manufacturing (SAP PP-PI) and buy sell business (SAP PP and SAP MM), MRP, ATP, WM, EWM and Logistics Execution for Distribution as well as integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools.
  • Works with business counterparts on delivering solutions based on Best Practices, business processes and SAP expertise. Analyzes business requirements and translates them into design.
  • Leads multiple design activities, from requirement analysis to systems, application and process design specifications, implementation, and support.
  • Provides expertise for estimation and financial analysis of projects.
  • Create documentation for various stages of planning, design, implementation, support of SAP Supply Chain services.
  • Participates in weekly team meetings and internal initiatives to review outstanding issues and/or to discuss new trends or projects
  • Manages and completes complex assignment and related projects
  • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support of SAP Supply Chain to IT and business stakeholders.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested
  • Works with others within the IT Operations Team to ensure all local end-users, as well as facility users can perform their job functions properly during and after large-scale re-engineering effortsQUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 10+ years of SAP Supply Chain (PP, MM, SD, WM, EWM) experience with progressive responsibility and influence.
    • Experience working on at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and hands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing SAP Supply Chain solutions.
    • Technically competent; able to supervise and inspire other team members. Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques.
    • Experience creating or using implementation templates and standardized implementations
    • Experience managing systems implementation projects, including budgets and resources
    • Experience with M&A from a systems integration perspective
    • Technical Experience is a must, with familiarity and high-level knowledge of SAP, application conversion, solutions design and architecture
    • Knowledge of life sciences industry is strongly preferable.
    • Possesses sound analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Must have the ability to think creatively and incorporate current technical solutions with the end user in mind.
      KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
      • Effectively manage timelines, resources, and financials for M&A projects in the Supply Chain Area
      • Excellent vendor and client relationship management skills, and effective management of internal and external expectations, including regional leaders and business stakeholders at the acquired company
      • Deep knowledge working with Supply Chain integrations, with an emphasis on Products and Service Based Companies, integration, International Sales and Invoicing and Intercompany.
      • Experienced working on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
      • SAP Production Planning (SAP PP and SAP PP-PI), SAP Materials Management (SAP MM), SAP Warehouse Management (WM), SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Logistics Execution (SAP LE) with experience delivering complex ERP transformation and implementation projects and a business-oriented focus on the end-to-end Supply Chain Process and SAP best practices.
      • Project Management and Leadership skills are a must.
      • Demonstrates ability to gather and analyze facts and data and draw correct inferences from the information; weighs alternatives and presents logical solutions to problems.
      • Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions after considering all facts, potential risks, customer needs, and alternative solutions when dealing with all types of issues.
      • Understanding of integration points of PP, PP-PI, MM, LE, EWM with FI/SD and other modules.
      • Demonstrated experience in development of SAP Supply Chain Solutions.
      • Experience providing training, mentorship and support of SAP Supply Chain solutions and best practices to IT and business stakeholders.
      • Can act as the key point of contact for the assigned integration projects to promote effective and timely communication
      • Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking stressful environment, working independently and prioritizing work
      • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to develop working relationships
      • Must be able to communicate with all levels of management as well as to associates within the business units
