Position: Service / UX / UI DesignerLocation: WFH during Covid-19Starts: Interviewing NowDuration: 12-month contract to start, 40 hours/week, likely extension or conversionStatus: FreelanceRate: DOE, starting at $55/hourOur client in the tech space is seeking a Service / UX / UI Designer for a 1-year, 40 hours/week contract that will likely extend or convert. Only local candidates that can go onsite into the Central NJ or NYC offices 2-3 days/week will be considered (return to office date still TBD). For NYC candidates, vaccination is required.The Service / UX / UI Designer will:- Drive mobile first experiences with cross-functional teams- Define structure, navigation, and functionality of digital products to support customer journey through a system- Lead research, generate insight, ideate, and develop the creative process with partners to deliver breakthrough ideas- Partner with IT, Research, UX Design, and Business to understand user needs and define CX design solutions- Create and maintain UX/UI design documentation (design frameworks, style guides, motion libraries, engagement patterns and prototypes)The Service / UX / UI Designer must have:- 5+ years of experience in UX, Interaction, or Service design, including creating experiences, services, and apps for mobile, desktop, tablet, and connect services- Expertise in the development of scalable design systems, IA, pattern guides, user flows, interaction models, etc.- Proficiency in prototyping and design tools such as Sketch- Strong design leadership skills and experience partnering with product managers and mentoring UI/UX designers- Bachelor's degree in design or related preferredJAN. 2022Submit resume (and samples if applicable) to: Amanda.Sciarretta@jobalert.creativecircle.com
