Manager, Process Management (HR Planning and Governance)

Job Description:


  • Maintain and evolve initiative standards and tools for planning and executing Workday initiatives and initiatives approved by HR's Global Solution Governance team
  • Maintain and evolve user acceptance testing standards and tools for Workday initiatives and initiatives approved by HR's Global Solution Governance team. For impactful changes and large initiatives, provide user acceptance testing oversight and conduct periodic audits of user acceptance testing for BAU changes
  • Provide day to day support and assist with strategic planning for global functional processes owned by HR Planning & Governance (e.g. position management, Workday home page) including:
  • Product planning
  • Business and system requirements
  • Testing
  • Operational support

  • Work with Workday global functional process owners to assess current state processes and identify opportunities to improve given employee/manager/HR feedback
  • Collaborate with business, global functional process owners and technology partners to evaluate new Workday functionality and how to best implement
  • Assist global functional process owners with "optimization" efforts including:
  • Project management support
  • Process redesign
  • Functional and user testing
  • Change activities to ensure business adoption and effective user training


  • BA/BS from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in human resources, operations, technology, testing and/or project management

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrated business acumen with success in leading execution and implementation of HR initiatives and processes while driving to the right business outcomes.
  • Strength in project and process management; proven ability to prioritize, simultaneously execute on multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines.
  • Strong influencing and relationship skills with proven experience managing relationships with internal and external business partners; ability to drive positive team behaviors, collaboration, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills including excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proven ability to create an environment of honesty, inclusion, and respect for others; champions differing ideas and perspectives.
  • Strong solutions orientation and execution mindset; operates well with ambiguity and with a high degree of independence, collaboration, resilience, curiosity, agility, and adaptability
  • Experience with large global implementation of HR systems such as Workday, Oracle or SAP
  • Experience developing plans and driving change management in a complex, global environment
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to make data driven recommendations or decisions to resolve issues and to drive effective HR and business outcomes
  • Open to all Prudential locations and/or virtual
  • *Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $98,000-$139,200 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
