Product Manager

Position Summary:

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for working cross-functionally to interpret stakeholders' needs, define product strategy and maintain multi-year product roadmap. In this role you will take a product and/or concept and drive it from inception to execution while prioritizing key activities that impact bottom-line performance. Additionally, you will evaluate complex and connected business needs and processes, interpret needs, bring resolution by utilizing various data types and appropriate tools in order to help build a tailored and sustainable product, or engage with 3rd party vendors to identify and integrate their product into Lumeris system. As a Product Manager you must demonstrate technical literacy within assigned product, concept, and value stream.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work across an assigned value stream or business unit to interpret and define a product or concept and oversee the product life cycle process including identification, assessment, design, and delivery of new Integration, Interface, MDM, ETL data offerings as well as manage existing product enhancements
  • Develop a deep understanding of product or product family and serve as subject matter expert of respective product or product family to business owners
  • Define and deliver clear expectations for quality of products, services, and processes
  • Develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization while articulating and negotiating complex information that is tailored to the level of the audience for whom it is intended
  • Partner with interdepartmental stakeholders to initiate and execute vendor engagements and agreements to deliver third party products and/or concepts
  • Cultivate an active network of internal and external relationships; Serve as a value-add business partner across diverse teams, external clients, and multiple concurrent projects
  • Drive collaboration and ownership of current solution analysis within the lenses of technical context and vision of architecture with the needs of business as focal point
  • Analyze ongoing market needs and document customer requirements
  • Interpret complex information related to challenges within an assigned business unit and determine a direction to help solve or alleviate issue
  • Serve as product evangelist helping to educate sales teams and prospective customers and markets on features and benefits of product or concept

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technology or business-related field
  • 3 years of product management and data tools; Minimum of 1 year of Healthcare Industry experience
  • Able to work within a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment under short timelines
  • Prior experience with software as a service delivery model is strongly preferred
  • Agile development methodology experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure and understand of Accountable Care strongly preferred
