Rutgers University-Newark, an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Senior Program Administrator at Rutgers Business School, Newark, and New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Vice Dean for Academic Programs with a dotted reporting relationship to the Dean of RBS .
The Senior Program Administrator ( SPA ) will be responsible and not limited to;
---Provides confidential analysis and coordination of strategic projects as assigned by the Dean.
---Organizes the timely and effective scheduling of courses for all academic programs across RBS . ---Collects, inputs, and manipulates course delivery data in university data systems
---Exercises detail to attention and excerpt professionalism along with effective interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external communities.
---Interprets, analyzes, and synthesizes complex data.
---Requires additional research to produce meaningful reports for use in strategic decision making, RBS accreditation, along with University reporting requirements.
---Serves as Project Manager and Faculty Liaison for the Dean of RBS .
---Requires determining the correct balance for teaching capacity and preferences of the faculty within the University parameters and RBS policies to meet the needs of the students while maximizing limited classroom resources.
---Other duties as assigned.
---Travel amongst regional campuses is required. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent oral, written, communication, and research skills, superior attention to detail, and strong computer literacy. Sets priorities and work independently as well as being a strong and collaborative team player. Preferred Qualifications Experience with classroom scheduling and management of complex projects.
Experience creating and managing data sets. Proficient in Office, database programming including FRS (Faculty Reporting System), CSS (Course Scheduling System,
