Job Description Job Description Job Title: Tie Rod Assembly - 1st shift - Up to 19/hr Job Description Join a dynamic team working with injection molding machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate machinery continuously while utilizing basic blueprints and work instructions for part assembly and creation. The position demands being on your feet throughout the day, working between multiple machines, and ensuring quality checks on parts. Any defective parts must be sent back for correction. You will collaborate with setup operators and communicate effectively with management and team leaders regarding any issues. Responsibilities Operate injection molding machinery continuously. Utilize blueprints and work instructions for part assembly. Perform quality checks on parts and manage any defective items. Collaborate with setup operators as needed. Communicate effectively with management and team leaders. Essential Skills Previous machine operation experience in an industrial manufacturing role (3 years preferred). Manufacturing or Industrial work experience (2 years preferred). Ability to work independently and maintain a steady work pace. Proficiency in working with small parts and following detailed instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with plastic injection molding is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a medium-sized manufacturing company specializing in automotive and agriculture parts, with a team of 50-60 employees on-site. The facility is clean and undergoing continuous upgrades. The position is available for the first shift, running from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime opportunities. The company maintains strict attendance policies, and the dress code includes jeans, a shirt, close-toed shoes, and eye and ear protection. Employees may use one earbud while working, provided they can still hear others and machinery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
