Job Details The Group Compliance Officer (GCO) is a member of the
Office of Compliance and serves as a compliance resource to one or
more Business Units (BU) and its leadership, staff, and Local
Compliance Representatives (LCRs). The GCO is actively involved
with day-to-day BU compliance operations, is responsible for BU
compliance policies and procedures, keeping up to date on emerging
risks and compliance matters, performing compliance activities in
support of the Cencora compliance program, including training, and
assisting in the compliance risk assessment process. The GCO serves
as the liaison between the BUs, LCRs and the Cencora Chief
Compliance Officer, the Office of Compliance, and the internal
Compliance Committee. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop,
implement and oversee the compliance program and activities within
the business units and operations to which the GCO is assigned.
Oversee, partner and communicate with the LCR who has been
designated as the BU or location compliance subject matter expert.
Actively partner with BU leadership to support efforts to achieve
business goals in compliance with relevant regulations. Draft
and/or ensure development of compliance policies, compliance
training, and BU compliance plan, as deemed appropriate for the
BU’s operations. Primary responsibilities with regard to the
Compliance Program include the following: Principal oversight and
monitoring of the Cencora Compliance Program at the business group
level, in conjunction and coordination with the LCR. Develop an
understanding of key compliance risk areas for the BU and monitor
emerging risk areas or trends for the BU, and developing
appropriate policies and procedures to address those risks. Provide
proactive support to BU leaders to identify potential areas of
compliance risk and provide advice and guidance concerning risk
mitigation. Annual review of compliance policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and/or the Senior
Compliance Officer on the progress and implementation of the
Compliance Program activities. Reporting to the Chief Compliance
Officer and/or the Senior Compliance Officer any compliance-related
issues or matters at the BU level, including any matters raised
through the Disclosure Program. Coordinating with the CCO, Cencora
Corporate Security and Regulatory Affairs (CSRA), Internal Audit,
Legal and/or Office of Compliance team, on all compliance reviews
and monitoring activities. This includes, but is not limited to,
annual or periodic reviews, and overseeing any resulting corrective
action. Assist in the annual risk assessment process conducted by
the Office of Compliance. Assist in the resolution of regulatory
and compliance matters relating to the BU to which they are
assigned. Manage Reportable Events Committee, including maintaining
minutes of meetings. Promotes participation in, and completion of,
various compliance training requirements. Performs related duties
as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer and/or the Senior
Compliance Officer, including duties related to compliance with the
requirements of the Corporate Integrity Agreement, dated as of
September 28, 2018 (CIA), between the Office of the Inspector
General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the
Company. Responsible for performing responsibilities with a
demonstrated high degree of integrity, good judgement,
assertiveness and an approachable demeanor, while eliciting the
respect and trust of the CCO. Experience and Educational
Requirements: Requires broad training in related field through
completion of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent
combination of education and experience; juris doctor preferred.
Normally requires 10 years related and progressively responsible
experience; previous work experience as a regulatory attorney or
compliance professional in a business subject to Federal health
care program requirements, FDA and DEA requirements is strongly
preferred. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

Salary Range* $124,000 - 190,850 *This Salary Range reflects a
National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on
your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New
York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific
locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and
