Job Description:
OverviewThe Lead IT Project Manager is a full-time position with
Atlantic Health System Information Technology department. The
position has responsibility for the oversight and management of
highly complex IT programs including multiple high dollar, high
visibility, and/or interdisciplinary projects. The work is
accomplished in a team environment and requires excellent problem
solving and communication skills with a high level of
professionalism and the ability to coach and guide other Project
Managers as well as operational and clinical management to achieve
project objectives.ResponsibilitiesManaging all aspects of IT

Level Objectives--- Project Integration Management--- Delivery
Release Management--- Project Resource Management--- Demand

Scope Management--- Cost Management--- Quality ManagementPartners
long term with executive level leaders to define objectives and the
portfolio of projects aligned to strategic goals. Advises
leadership on operating and capital budget requirements, high level
resource needs, and high-level timing and sequencing of
projects.Champions ISS governance processes and support leadership
in their use of the process.Guide and coach project managers in the
effective management of projects within the program to ensure
delivery on time and on budget.Selects appropriate project
artifacts for use. Keeps artifacts up to date. Creates artifacts in
a manner consistent with ISS project management methodology, allows
for efficient project management, and meets stakeholder needs.
Refine and maintain project management tools and reports for
PMO.Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation
among team members. Recognizes contributions and celebrates
accomplishments.Has excellent communication skills. Listens well,
speaks and writes clearly and concisely. Presents in front of a
variety of potentially large audiences.Displays model behavior.
Engages others in attaining a future vision not only for the
project, but for the organization. Provide mentorship to internal
staff and external staff in project management
methodology.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Healthcare or
Business Administration, Public Health, Mathematics, Healthcare
Informatics or Computer Science or equivalent area of education or
a combination of education and relevant work history---At least
five years of project management experience or experience and
training that includes at least four years of leading projects
related to IT, healthcare, healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare
finance, or system implementations.---Successful track record of
project results demonstrating effective project
leadership.---Demonstrated knowledge of project management
methodology, System Development Life Cycle, budgetary practices,
procurement, and contracting.---Excellent interpersonal,
communication, leadership and change management skills to establish
and maintain positive and productive working
relationships.---Demonstrated ability to successfully manage
multiple projects simultaneously demonstrating flexibility and
creativity.Preferred---PMP Certification---Master's degree in
Healthcare or Business Administration, Public Health, Mathematics,
Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science or similar
subject---Program management experience or experience supervising
