BIM/Design Technology Coordinator Level 1 Responsible for assisting in the development and coordination of project-focused communications and design technology, as well as overall office technology. Supports the Senior Level Design Technology Manager and extended Design Technology Team with coordination of the BIM/digital design logistics, as it relates to software technology. Supports the digital project team in maintaining consistent standards and practices. Supports the digital project team in their daily model management, administration, and maintenance. Supports the creation and maintenance of digital content. May assist in preparation of office standard user manuals for technical support, product descriptions and tutorials, and in training of new staff in the use of Revit and other design technologies. At times, and as appropriate and dependent upon educational background and/or capabilities, may be called upon to participate in project-based production activities, including but not limited to field-verification and generation of base-level-as-built documentation and other architectural or structural production-focused tasks, under the guidance of a licensed architect or engineer. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties and Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide design technology software (i.e., Autodesk applications) technical support to project team members as requested. Provide design technology guidance as it related to the use of digital tools throughout the life of a project. Create tutorials based on frequently asked questions, or new software and workflows adopted by the firm. Research and maintain an awareness of new design technologies. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong skill and experience with Autodesk Revit, especially with regards to Family Creation and Model Maintenance. Autodesk Dynamo experience is a plus but is not required. General knowledge and experience with Adobe applications such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign. Well organized and able to prioritize and self-manage workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Have a professional approach, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate discretion with sensitive information. Education and Experience: A professional degree and/or certification in Architecture or Computer Science disciplines is preferred, but not required.
