Job DescriptionAs a Business Developer for Rainbow Ecoscience (a Rainbow Tree Company Brand), your primary responsibility will be to proactively manage, develop, and expand relationships with current and prospective companies that serve multiple markets. You will champion Rainbow's mission and values to leaders of national and regional companies and other industry influencers. You are ambitious, energetic, inspired by innovation, and are exceptionally skilled at building personal relationships and navigating complex organizations.The Business Developer is accountable for developing strategies and execution of plans to meet overall business objectives. We are looking for someone located within any major city with easy access to an airport as the travel is an important component for this position.What You Will Do:

• Engage in Business Development activities to include prospecting, creating relationships with influencers, decision makers, end users, current buyers, and new prospects within an organization to develop a clear, complete understanding of their business opportunities and needs.
• Identify new customer opportunities to grow regional/national accounts
• Respond to RFP's
• Create strategic account plans as well as develop and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate and direct activities with Ecoscience Regional Territory Managers to support local offices/branch managers of National Accounts
• Maintain CRM, including an ongoing list of new prospectsQualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree in related field plus one year of experience, or equivalent work experience of 5+ years in a green industry business development or related role
  • 1 year experience in national sales or equivalent education, training, or experience
  • Experience with CRM tools in sales environment
  • Experience in the green industry
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to speak in public to educate and motivate, coach and mentor individuals as well team membersWhat We Will Offer:
