When you join the Global Technology organization at Prudential, you'll unlock a challenging and impactful career - all while growing your skills and advancing your profession at one of the world's leading financial services institutions.Responsibilities:Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable architecture and code for cloud data platforms.Leading technical teams to deliver large scale data platform solutionsCreating technical stories and guardrails for development teamEnsure the best possible performance and quality of high scale applications and services.Design and build highly performant function-based API'sDeveloping microservices using Node.js / python/JavaEnsures all code has been unit tested prior to QA, including interfaces with other systems.Requirements:10+ years of experience as a lead Full stack developerExperience with large scale data platform implementations is a must haveExperience with multi-tenant data lake house implementations is a must haveExperience leading Agile development teams is a must haveExperience with writing python/ Java nodeJS code for Lambda functionExperience developing business applications using NoSQL/SQL databases.Experience working with Object stores(S3) and JSON is must haveExperience developing web applications is a must haveExperience integrating SSO/LDAP/AD is a must haveExperience working with REST API's, code packages, deployment tools.Should have good experience with AWS Services - API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ElasticSearch.Serverless application development using AWS Lambda.Experience in FE technologies like React JS is a must have.Experience in BE development (microservices/APIs) is a must haveExperience in metadata capture/discovery tools like CKAN a big plusExperience in AWS based data environment is a plusExperience integrating with third party tools is a must haveExperience in CI/CD, DevOps is a must haveBachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent professional experience-Prudential Financial, Inc. of the United States is not affiliated with Prudential plc. which is headquartered in the United Kingdom.Prudential is a multinational financial services leader with operations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
