Job Description:

Eagle Rock Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our progressive healthcare team. This role is pivotal in administering patient care and support throughout various rehabilitation and recovery processes. As a CMA, you will play an integral role in implementing treatment plans, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining patient records with utmost confidentiality and efficiency. Assist in examining and treating patients under the direction of a physician. Administer medications and injections as prescribed. Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Monitor and record patient's condition and document the care provided. Educate and communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and disposal of contaminated supplies. Help in scheduling appointments and managing patient follow-ups. Proficiency in clinical procedures and safety protocols. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to operate medical equipment. Capable of handling laboratory tasks efficiently. Knowledge of healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is mandatory.
