Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU
- Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Newark, New
Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU -
Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel Description: Children's Hospital of New
Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center 13 weeks… Every other
weekend (Sat/Sun)… Primary Unit: PICU Will float to Pediatrics, and
NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment (Confirm floating with
traveler) There may be additional float units based on skill set
and hospital needs… 2 years of PICU critical care experience
required, with 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred.
Both must be documented on skills checklist medtronic pacemakers,
Tele monitoring REQ Experience in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow
nasal cannula, trachs REQ Patient Ratio: 1:2 (Confirm with
traveler) 19 beds on the unit… BLS & PALS required; NRP preferred
Charting System: EPIC… First time travelers are not accepted… Scrub
color Navy Blue… All RNs MUST complete Peripheral IV and Central
Line Education Package for NEW bookings Recruiters: RNS must pay
$145.80 plus tax for the course, this fee should be added to the
margin This certification is listed as 11 contact hours About Prime
