Hourly Shift: Evening Pay Range: $47.85 - $76.27 per hour Pay
Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range
for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation
offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on
several factors, including the candidate's educational background,
skills and professional experience. Job overview: Organize and
administer individualized age-specific professional care to
patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of
medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and
vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of
Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act,
American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics
for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and
other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and
discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement
evaluation activities. Qualifications: Required: Must be a graduate
from an accredited school of nursing At least 2 years experience in
Labor & Delivery nursing Completion of all orientation requirements
of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Successful completion of all
orientation programs Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or
currently matriculating C ertifications and Licenses Required:
Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey Basic
Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association ACLS
certification NRP certification Certification in specialty
preferred Scheduling Requirements: Part-Time 7pm - 7:30am 12.5 hr.
shifts 25 hrs. weekly Every other weekend required Other Duties:
