Preferred: BSN One year of Medical Surgical nursing experience in
an Oncology unit Epic experience is a plus Certification and
License Requirements: Active NJ RN License or willing to obtain BLS
certification through the American Heart Association Graduate from
an accredited School of Nursing Chemo Certification or willing to
obtain within the first year of employment Scheduling Requirements:
Day Shift 7:00am – 7:30pm Full Time Weekend Requirement Essential
Functions: The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to
provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical
staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse
Practice Act. It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to
implement the Hospital’s Mission and goals through established
policies, procedures and performance-improvement activities.
Implementation of these goals occurs through the organization and
administration of individualized age-specific professional nursing
care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. An
understanding of the principles of growth and development will be
incorporated to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and
