Job Description:
Position Overview: A well-established, high-volume pediatric
practice in Newark, NJ is seeking a board-certified or
board-eligible Pediatrician specializing in Child Abuse . This is
an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of experienced
physicians, social workers, and psychologists dedicated to the
evaluation and treatment of abused and neglected children. The
ideal candidate is passionate about clinical care, teaching, and
advancing research in child maltreatment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and chart reviews for
child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. Provide
in-hospital consultations, including patient visits as needed.
Deliver educational sessions to pediatric staff, medical students,
mental health clinicians, social workers, and law enforcement.
Participate in ongoing education and research initiatives related
to child abuse and maltreatment. Requirements: Board-certified or
board-eligible in Pediatrics. Experience in Child Abuse Pediatrics
and General Pediatrics. Eligible for medical licensure in New

The anticipated salary range for this position is $200,000 to
$300,000 per year . Final compensation will be determined based on
the candidates education, experience, and skills. About the Center:
TheDiagnostic and Treatment Center is one of New Jerseys four
state-designated multidisciplinary centers for the evaluation and
treatment of abused and neglected children. The team provides
compassionate, expert care for victims of all types of child abuse
and neglect, working closely with child protection services, legal
entities, hospitals, and community organizations to restore health
and well-being.
