Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Newark, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,228 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric Hemology/Oncology RN – New Jersey Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday), 12-hour shifts. Patient ratio 1:5. Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays during contract period. Highlights: Specialized pediatric unit serving general pediatrics, hematology/oncology, orthopedics, and surgical patients Chemotherapy and oncology experience required – opportunity to utilize advanced nursing skills 31-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams EPIC charting system for streamlined documentation Float opportunities to PICU and NICU based on skillset and hospital needs First-time travelers accepted with comprehensive orientation and training modules Requirements: Active New Jersey RN license or compact state license required at time of submission Minimum 1.5 years of pediatric nursing experience required General pediatrics experience is mandatory Chemotherapy/Oncology experience required BLS and PALS certifications required APHON, NRP, and OCN certifications preferred Experience with patient ratio of 1:5 EPIC charting experience preferred Must be willing to float to PICU and NICU for appropriate assignments Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pediatric patients and their families across multiple specialty areas including hematology/oncology.
