contract position. Schedule Day shift, 5 days a week (07:00 -
15:30). Job Description The Registered Nurse in Wound Care will
focus on the assessment, management, and treatment of pressure
injuries, interfacing as needed with the patients’ primary nurses
and educators. This role requires proficiency in advanced wound
care practices, including staging, treatment documentation, and
collaboration to reduce and prevent pressure injuries.
Responsibilities Conduct assessments and management of pressure
injuries, validating staging and documentation. Maintain accurate
documentation in an Excel spreadsheet for each patient with a
pressure injury, including key metrics. Participate in Wound Rounds
and Prevalence, providing insights and follow-up details to the
leadership team. Collect additional information for a comprehensive
review of pressure injuries to identify improvement opportunities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of
experience in a wound care setting required. Previous charge
experience is required. Teaching hospital experience preferred. BLS
certification is required; WCN or WOCN certifications are
preferred. Proficiency in colostomy and ileostomy care and
