Job Description:

Duties: Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with a specialty proceduralist Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases The ability to think critically during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist the proceduralist The ability to operate the power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to the Sectra/PACs system Groin management post-intervention Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast -paced environment Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
