• Certification Details
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS. NRP preferred.
• Charting System: EPIC.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Rapid Response.
  • 13-week contract with possibility to extend.
  • Primary Unit: PICU, may float to Pediatrics, and NICU if needed.
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2+.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2+ years of PICU critical care experience with 1 year of cardiac experience.
    • Must be competent to care for CT patients with various cardiac conditions.
    • Must be experienced with Medtronic pacemakers, Tele monitoring, BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs.
    • Previous travel RN experience preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • 13 weeks contract duration.
      • Every other weekend (Sat/Sun).
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 19 beds on the unit.
        • Primary Unit: PICU, may float as needed based on skill set and hospital needs.
          • Additional Details
          • Scrubs required to be in color Navy Blue.
          • First time travelers not accepted.
          • HOLIDAY POLICY - Must work 2 of 3 holidays.
