Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology/Simon 5 Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 3 day per week, 7:00pm - 7:00am and every other weekend. Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients servedThrough the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their familiesCandidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job Qualifications Minimum Education:BSN required Minimum Experience:3-4 years of Acute Care, Med/Surg experience strongly preferredOncology interest Licenses/Certifications:Valid New Jersey Nursing License requiredBLS requiredOncology speciality certification preferred Qualifications:Must be interested in caring for the oncology populationCandidate must have excellent communication and computer skillsSkilled in interpersonal and patient education and satisfaction About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
