Overview

Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Unit- Gagnon 5 working 7:00PM-7:00AM, including every other weekend.


Responsibilities

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
• Ability to deliver care to high acuity patients with compassion
• Progressive mobility
  
  Qualifications
  
  Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BLS certification preferred
  • CNA preferredRelevant Experience:
    • At least 1 year experience in Acute Care required
