Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced
Full-Time Nursing Coordinator Data Analytics for Goryeb Children's
Hospital.Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: A Nursing
Coordinator, Data Analytics would support initiatives identified as
departmental priorities as set forth in the Pediatric Strategic
Plan. Clinical Guidelines Project: Evidence based guidelines have
been created to ensure routine assessment of illness acuity (e.g.
PEWS) and to guide in the management of common pediatric conditions
(e.g. bronchiolitis and pneumonia). These guidelines are
disseminated to care providers throughout AHS. Measurement of
compliance with pediatric guidelines is critical to identify areas
of opportunity and to target improvement initiatives. A Nursing
Coordinator, Data Analytics would: Aid in design and perform
systematic chart review. Assist in statistical analysis and prepare
data for presentation. Participate in preparation of publications,
which would support institutional research efforts and fulfill
educational responsibilities. Pediatric Safety Dashboards and
Quality Scorecards: Tools to monitor pediatric patient safety in
children's hospitals have been described. Goryeb Children's
Hospital utilizes a preventable harm index to quantify harm events,
monitor for trends and prioritize opportunities for
system/process-based improvement. A Nursing Coordinator, Data
Analytics would aid in literature review and monthly data
aggregation for presentation. Collecting and monitoring all
Pediatric Neurosurgical cases through the children's hospital. Help
to ensure that education in PICU/floor regarding Perioperative
protocols for common neurosurgical procedures occurs. Track
compliance in PICU/floor with Perioperative protocols in order to
guide QI projects. Help develop individual physician dashboards
with QI metrics. US News and World Report - Top Children's
Hospital: A Nursing Coordinator, Data Analytics would assist in
gathering data necessary for submission and would assist in
performing gap analyses to best inform strategic decision making.
Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum Education: BSN required
License/Ceretifications: Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
BLS required Relevant Experience: The optimal candidate for the
Pediatric Nursing Coordinator, Data Analytics position would
possess an understanding of: The diagnosis and management of common
pediatric condition Quality Improvement science and methodology
(e.g. PDSA cycles, run/control charts) Basic principles of
statistical analysis Epic EMR and slicer/dicer tools; Microsoft
