Job Description:

We are seeking a Territory Manager / Account Manager You should have experience of Hydraulics, Fluids and PTOs, preferably live within the territory and possess sales management experience. We put our efforts into providing hydraulics and heavy work truck parts that are easy to sell because they are reliable and our customer service is dependable. We've been doing this for over 80 years now. Our sales professionals bring professionalism and dedication to the job, and in return, typically enjoy a long tenure with excellent opportunities to travel in pursuit of building new relationships and continuing to nurture those that already exist. The Regional / Zone Sales Manager will administer, coordinate and implement all sales activities within the designated region and conduct necessary training and public relations to support sales activities and customer support. Job Responsibilities: Travels throughout a designated region to promote, sell, and service company products Plans own itinerary, schedules contacts with distributors and end users and determines their needs; develops a territorial marketing plan Evaluates market penetration in the assigned region; works from leads, market data and customer inquiries Collaborates and works in partnership with Market Specialists for applicable O.E.M. accounts in the sales territory as appropriate Performs routine, and non-routine, follow up visits Submits account applications for credit evaluation Assists in collecting bad debts Conducts product training classes Assists distributors with merchandising, advertising and sales strategies Notifies technical service personnel of special or unique problems Provides trouble shooting assistance to customers as needed Keeps abreast of competitor activities in the region Attends trades shows as needed Uses company software and sales programs Assists with warranty evaluation and completion of warranty paperwork Performs other duties as assigned by District Sales Director Requirements: Associate degree, or certificate of completion in mechanical or industrial engineering, fluid power or other applicable engineering or technical degree, or an associate degree in business administration, management or marketing, or a minimum of three years field sales and service experience with mobile equipment and components Prefer knowledge of the heavy truck equipment industry Must have experience with PTO's Must have experience with Fluid power Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and ability to work well with others as well as independently Must be willing to live in sales territory and to travel extensively. You will be traveling within the territory 60% of the time. We have office located throughout the US with our head office in Indiana, however you will primarily work from your home office and on the road within the territory.
