    • Manage NYCT's internal rail flaw track inspection operations, including UT Inspections and other specialized inspections of track elements.
    • Direct rail flaw inspection operations, including audits of NDT systems onboard Track Geometry Cars, and field verifications of rail defects.
    • Perform project management for the Non-Destructive Testing Rail Services Contracts.
    • Ensure successful annual internal rail flaw inspections of mainline tracks.
    • Manage QA/QC of UT operations.
    • Review and validate daily ultrasonic test inspection data, ensuring timely reporting of critical defects.
    • Review contractors' personnel qualifications, certifications, attendance reports, and invoices.Experience and Education Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
      • Eight (8) years of responsible full-time paid experience.
      • Five (5) years of supervisory/managerial experience.
      • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience with five (5) years of supervisory/managerial experience.Certifications:*ASNT NDT Level II Certified for Ultrasonic Testing according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A (latest edition) is required.*Desired Skills:
        • Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment inspections and ultrasound inspections.
