  What You Will Be Doing:
  
  • This position will oversee a team of Governance & Control Specialists, who review, analyze, and report on key controls and measurements across multiple departments. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with various Federal and State laws and regulations governing the booking of premium finance loans while seeking to prevent any penalties or liabilities with the requirements of investors and government agencies. The primary function of the role will work closely with interdepartmental teams to ensure protocols are maintained and/or updated accordingly.
  • Prepare and review departmental reports and communicate observations and make recommendations to improve quality, accuracy, efficiencies, and compliance with industry standards and rules, as well as corporate policies and procedures. Develop compliance testing plan for premium finance loans to ensure conformance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with different departments, as needed, to compile information in accordance with audit requests. Furnish information requested to auditors. Track progress of remediation of audit findings.
  • Plan, organize, write, review, and edit policies and procedures relative to regulatory requirements of booking premium finance loans. Maintains a competent level of expertise and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and hire staff. Develop personal growth opportunities and assign team objectives for staff to execute. Creating a team of engaged employees that feel connected to the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management on key initiatives, projects, technology solutions or opportunities for efficiency.
    
    Qualifications:
    
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 3- 5 years of management experience
    • Governance and Assurance experience required, as well as, experience with writing policies and procedures
