  • Conduct on-site customer visits to provide sales information with regards to our Consumables: Cell Culture, Sample Preparation, BioProcessing, Fermentation, Consumables, Protein Expression and related products
  • Ensure that assigned territory meets sales goals
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers
  • Sell products in various market segments via direct sales and through distributors
  • Actively sell: Local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows
  • Identify and follow-up with potential new sales leads through social media, the company CRM, customer referrals and email campaigns.
  • Develop sales strategies for assigned territory including business plans and market analysis
  • Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
  • Manage and maintain information in company CRM
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management.
  • Limited overnight travel (except sales meetings /attend national conferences) Requirements:
    • Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical
    • Knowledge of the account base in the geography preferred
    • Laboratory hands-on experience preferred
    • Basic Knowledge of Cell Culture and/or High Pressure Liquid Chromatography
    • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
    • Experience in Microsoft office and a CRM program
    • Skilled in the art of negotiation
