Job SummaryAvantor is looking for a dedicated and creative
Business Development Manager - Indirect Sales, targeting
Engineering Firms.
This role will be a remote position covering the East Coast. If you
have experience in Business Development and are passionate about
identifying new business opportunities that align with the business
strategies to meet sales performance goals. - let's talk!What we're
looking for
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning
institution, preferably in an Engineering or Science related field
OR an equivalent experience is required
- Experience: Experience assuming ownership for significant
accounts is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Life Sciences in a sales role
is required
- Up to 30% Travel is required
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications:Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or
other time essential constraints is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to
clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
is preferred
- Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly
changing and growing organization is preferred
- Self-motivated team player and able to handle multiple
priorities simultaneously is preferred
- Strong demonstration of collaboration across all functions and
levels within the organizationis preferredHow you will thrive and
create an impactAs a major team contributor, this person will
partner with carriers to:
- Prospect and establish new customers by managing a sales
pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by
illustrating our value proposition as a Pump and Single use
manufacturer and supplier.
- Sell consultatively, detailing products, determining customer
needs and requirements, and making recommendations to both
prospects and customers for Pump and Single use solutions.
- Partner with sales management team in driving the Pump and
Single use portfolio and implementing sales strategies to achieve
sales growth.
- Build and sustain relationships with customers and ensure
satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leverage available resources to effectively implement company
marketing plan, strategies and sales processes.
- Identify and lead the development or refinement of new custom
manufacturing opportunities.
- Manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously ensuring
Product Management and Sales/Account Management teams are working
proactively to progress opportunities through the sales
process.
- Visit with and facilitate C-Suite level presentations to end
customers.
