This team currently has an opening for a senior level position with responsibility for assisting in the management of our global platforms for the REIT equities portfolios. The position is located in Newark, NJ.This role will include the following responsibilities:

• Maintain coverage of one or more property sectors within the REIT universe
• Experience working for a REIT is absolutely required!
• Make stock recommendations
• Conduct macroeconomic and real estate research
• Analyze public documents and SEC filings
• Develop and maintain valuation models for your coverage universe
• Attend on-site property tours
• Attend industry conferences
• Evaluate management teams
• Fulfill various other portfolio and investment management responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate should have the below experience and skills:
  • 5-10 years of experience analyzing REIT equity securities
  • Experience working for a REIT is absolutely required!
  • A strong academic background/Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • A solid understanding of Financial/Statistical Analysis and Accounting
  • Concrete analytical abilities
  • Superior knowledge of Excel including modeling
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform well both independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • High degree of proficiency in Windows, Excel, Bloomberg, Word and PowerPoint is essential
