Job Description:
Kennedys is looking for a Senior Manager - Master Data
Management to join our Finance team in Basking Ridge. The role will
lead a global Master Data Management team who maintain the Elite
finance system database. In addition, they will be the custodians
of the Intapp NBI system and processes. This dual role will be to
proactively manage our data and ensure that its quality is as good
as we can get it and is maintained to the standard the firm
requires. The role will report to the Head of Business
Intelligence. Team Our Finance team is made up of Financial
Systems, Financial Control, Financial Planning and Reporting,
Management Accountants, Credit Control, Legal Cashiers and Billers
and Financial Operations Database teams. Kennedys Finance team
support the Firm globally, producing timely and accurate financial
and management information, reporting solutions and operational
support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the
Firm's internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the integrity of the data within the Elite
database, from its input through maintenance and integration with
other relevant business systems. Ensuring that Data Stewardship is
in place and responsible for compliance of the agreed governance
workflows with stakeholders
- Work with the Data Strategy team and Kennedys Data Risk Lead to
develop a set of disciplines and processes around the existing
systems (Elite and NBI), to ensure the accuracy, completeness,
timeliness and consistency of enterprise wide data across multiple
business processes and functional areas globally
- Identify process areas for review and continuous
improvement
- Conduct benchmarking activities to validate and improve our
data management practices and policies
- Influence, develop and maintain strong relationships with
senior stakeholders, Team Leaders, Divisional Heads, Directors and
Local Managing Partners to provide solutions driven advice and
guidance, in line with the firm's vision Required experience
- Experience in global hub development and remote team
management
- Data governance and management skills to support building a
uniform, accurate and globally consistent master data asset
- Exposure to client onboarding - specifically rate
management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability
to navigate a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- Knowledge of source system (Elite 3e) desirable About Kennedys
