Sodexo is looking for a -Patient Services Manager 1 -for -Newark
Beth Israel Medical Center -in -Newark NJ. The Patient Services
Manager will direct and manage all patient feeding operations and
lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline union staff and have
the ability and willingness to develop and motivate food service
team members. -
We are looking for individuals with great patient service
experience, driven to learn and can work in a team driven
environment. This exciting role will manage our patient dining
program and the successful leader will provide operational support
throughout an ongoing kitchen renovation project and play an
integral role in executing our Expressly for You (EFY) meal service
program standards. - -
The ideal candidate:
This role will have oversight of patient meal service, food
production and diet office areas and actively participate in daily
patient meal rounding and service recovery process.

Position Summary
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units
to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.Key
Duties- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at
patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment,
inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and
deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority,
assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring
operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements
and communicates them to employees.
- Performs audits and prepares reports
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree -or equivalent
experience
